One Less Thing To Store

FIELD NOTE no. 002

One day your dad will lend you his camping cot for an upcoming fishing trip.

He’ll say, “Don’t bring it back.”

It’s meant as a practical thing. One less item for him to store. One less thing for you to buy.

But there comes a point when all you want is for him to be sleeping in his own cot next to you for this trip instead.
